Hello
Hi, I’m Jade, a wildlife and exotics veterinarian with a big love for animals and a strong sense of adventure. I’ve always been drawn to the wild, the unusual, and the incredible diversity of species we share the planet with. Exploring new places and working with unique animals is not just part of my job, it’s part of who I am

My Story
I’m French Canadian by background, and my journey into veterinary medicine wasn’t a straight line. After studying biotechnology and political science and working in the pharmaceutical world, I returned to university to become a veterinarian so I could work more closely with animals.
I’ve always been drawn to wildlife and exotic species, and my career has allowed me to combine my passion for conservation with the depth and challenge of internal medicine. I have a strong clinical interest in nutrition and palliative care, and I continue to collaborate with wildlife organisations in Australia and internationally.
I also love sharing knowledge, whether through teaching, speaking, or helping owners better understand their animals’ needs. At the heart of my work is the bond between people and their animals, and I believe every species deserves compassionate, high-quality care.
You can explore my past adventures and wildlife work on this site, book an appointment for your pet, or bring in wildlife that needs veterinary attention.
